If you travel you must be aware about restrictions and requirements of TSA , how many ounces can you take on a plane . All liquids (including gels like toothpaste) and some meals that qualify as liquids must be kept in separate containers with a maximum capacity of 3.4 ounces. You will need to remove them from your suitcase and place them in a container at the airport security checkpoint, where they will be X-rayed and occasionally further examined. You are not permitted to put your liquids in a larger bag. Even when empty, containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100ml) are prohibited.
